Petal Park meets Artistic Masks

I had such fun at last weekend’s Marvelous Masks classes! This was the last card we made — or, rather, the last sample we made. Because of the drying time required for the tinted Embossing Paste, participants completed this card at home (I hope!).

I have lots of class samples that I’ll share with you in the coming weeks that I hope will show why I love the Decorative Masks so much. With only a few supplies, you can create backgrounds — as big as a card front or as small as a tag — in your choice of colors. In addition, the very act of creating the panels with the masks is, for me, very soothing. And it just plain makes me happy!

It’s the truth: you must see (and touch!) this card for yourself to see why Embossing Paste is such a cool product. The texture and dimension are pretty amazing. If you’re curious about the ink refill color I used, and why it doesn’t look like Orchid Oasis here, the white Embossing Paste lightens the color significantly. In fact, this looks almost identical to Highland Heather!
