Stamp Review Crew: Christmas Classics

Welcome to the last Stamp Review Crew blog hop of 2023! The Crew is a group of international bloggers who may participate in a hop or two each month (the first and third Monday) to focus on one stamp set. Today’s hop looks at Christmas Classics, a retiring bundle that you’ll find on page 31 of the Stampin’ Up! September-December 2023 Mini Catalog, with additional samples here and there in the mini. At this writing, both the stamp set and die set are still available.

We have had some technical issues today, and I cannot link to Stacey’s post. Instead … I hope you came here via Heart’s Delight Cards, the blog of Cindy Elam. Cindy is one of my favorite stampers (and has been for years) — you can see why!

Although I have used Christmas Classics for other projects in the last few months, I used the opportunity of today’s hop to create cards I need for the last weeks of the year. Note that I will be posting these cards individually this week so I can give you some additional information and share the product lists.

If you follow me, you have seen me use Stampin’ Up! Note Cards & Envelopes. It’s nice to have the challenge of a “canvas” that’s a slightly different size. This note card is one of several thank-you cards I am mailing today. It uses a Christmas Classics sentiment, die, and the small cluster of holly in classic Christmas colors.

I am working on birthday cards this week. I don’t want to shortchange friends and family who have birthdays around the holidays, so I have put Christmas to the side and am concentrating on winter. This card uses the pine bough image and one of the sentiment word stamps. There’s a little technique secret, so check back!

I do have one other idea, but it will have to wait for a bit. Thank you for spending time here today! Now you are on to see what Kim Fee has created for this hop on her blog, Simplyfairies Papercrafts. Enjoy your time there!
