Stamp Review Crew: Bonus Sale-A-Bration

You may be surprised to find the Stamp Review Crew hopping today — usually, our hops are on the first and third Monday. Because of the extra Monday in January, we’re doing something different: our hop features a stamp set of the blogger’s choice from the January-February 2022 Sale-A-Bration Brochure. There are 11 blogs on this hop, so you’ll find lots of inspiration from this little brochure!

I chose to use not one, but two SAB stamp sets. I was immediately taken with Driving By — as have been so many stampers! My challenge was to take a less-driven route (auto humor!), and the question is, what is the “something” I have for the recipient of this card? The elements here send some mixed messages …

I stamped the sports car image with the balloons omitted and adhered a few hearts cut with the Sweet Heart Dies from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. I stamped and cut a mask to cover the car so I could use one of the masks from the Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Masks Set in an ombre effect. That was fun, and I love the “groovy” effect. I look forward to showing this card IRL to the stampers at this weekend’s Marvelous Masks class sessions!
