Just Because I’m Thinking of You

Easily overlooked in the Stampin’ Up! catalogs, I think, are the “Just for Hosts” stamp sets at the back. You can only get these when you qualify as a host, that is, when your order is at least $150 in product (before S/H and tax). A host set is “purchased” with Stampin’ Rewards, the product credit you earn based on your product total.

I’ve really enjoyed playing with Just Because, a host set from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Occasions Catalog.

The images in this host set are much bigger than they appear on page 54. I know it actually says there that the images shown are at 50%, but until I saw the stamps in person I didn’t really understand!

I sent this card — flat, #SimpleStamping (but not necessarily quick) — to someone whose daughter is very ill. I also sent this prayer, which I found in the final days when my older sister was dying of cancer:

Watch, O Lord,
with those who wake,
or watch,
or weep tonight,
and give Your angels charge over those who sleep.
Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.
Bless Your dying ones.
Soothe Your suffering ones.
Pity Your afflicted ones.
Shield Your joyous ones.
And all for Your love’s sake.
