The Stampin’ Up! August-December 2020 Mini Catalog is here!
We may not call it the holiday catalog anymore, but you can see from the cover what’s inside! But click the image above to see all 84 pages of the Stampin’ Up! August-December 2020 Mini Catalog and discover all the fun, beautiful products inside! (Does “mini” really describe 84 pages???)
Go ahead — pour yourself a cup of tea or a glass of something and let the browsing begin. You may want to start a wish list in my redesigned Stampin’ Up! online store here; just click the heart icon under an item you want to add to your list (you have the ability to name and save an unlimited number of lists).
Want to see how they created the samples in the mini? View the August-September 2020 Sample Recipes here (and always on the Resources page of this blog).
When you’re ready to place an order, don’t forget your Bonus Days coupons you received in July (you’ll find them in your email box). Then, August 4-31, please use my Host Code AHDVUVJ7; when your order is at least $50 in product, I’ll send you a spool of Real Red 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim (#153546) from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.

- Love an item, but not sure you want to add it to this order? Click the heart below the item to add it to a wish list! You can have more than one (I keep my wish lists organized by the date I plan to order), and you can share your list with family members when your birthday is imminent!

- The field to enter Bonus Coupons you’ve earned is part of the checkout process, and you’ll see the cart total changing as you enter the coupon codes.
- A Feedback option allows you to give Stampin’ Up! information about the shopping experience — so useful if something on the site is not working correctly!
Important things to know before you begin to shop:
- If you’re already a registered user, you do not have to start a new account. However, because the customer site uses a new domain, you will need to re-enter your username and password. Do you know what they are?
- If you’ve forgotten your password, click the “Forgot Password” link on the new online store’s sign-in page and follow the steps to reset your password. (You’ll get an email from noreply@info.stampinup.com to do this.)
- If your browser or security system remembers your password, it will have to be updated (you will probably be prompted for this).
- If you want, you can check out as a guest, without creating an account. Of course, you will not have an order history this way.
I’m so excited about this new and improved shopping experience! As you shop, please consider using my August Host Code AHDVUVJ7 (unless your product total is at least $150, in which case you’ll qualify for your own Stampin’ Rewards). If you use August Host Code AHDVUVJ7 and your product total is at least $50, I’ll send you a spool of the Real Red 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim (#153546) from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. This is my gift to you, in appreciation for your order!
Today’s Tiles: Hello
Here’s the first version of the card I made in yesterday’s video. This two-step stamping isn’t perfectly aligned. I used the Stamparatus — it seems like it should be perfect, right? Here we must consider the human factor: my eyes are not very good and I was stamping underneath the camera. Not the best conditions!
Even so, it’s much, much easier to use the Stamparatus, especially when you need to correct the inking, as I did in the video, or stamp more than one of the same card. (That’s what I’m doing this week, as I prepare for a big birthday in this household.)
In addition to the sample on page 39 of the Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, I was inspired by an old episode of Home Town, where an artist friend of Erin’s hand-printed wallpaper for the kitchen backsplash. The excitement when they saw the print — that’s how I feel when I use the Stamparatus!
I chose this die from Beautiful Boughs because it echos some of the shapes of the tiles. It’s nice to be able to do that!
Remember, if you share yesterday’s video on Facebook and I draw your name, I’ll send you this card for you to keep or send to someone else (the inside is blank). The deadline for sharing is before Saturday, August 1.

I apologize for the focusing issues in this video! Please SHARE this video on Facebook before Saturday, 8/1 — I may draw your name to receive the card I show in this video!
Bonus Days ending soon!
Just seven more days to earn coupon codes to use on Stampin’ Up! purchases August 4-31!
For every $50 you spend from July 1 through August 3 (before shipping and tax), you’ll earn a $5 Bonus Days coupon code that can be used August 4–31.
When you submit your order (here’s my online storefront) you’ll receive your coupon(s) via the email address in your Stampin’ Up! customer profile. That’s an important part: an email address is required to participate; Bonus Days coupon codes can be delivered only via email. And if you accidentally delete that email? I’m sorry — I have no record of your coupon code and neither does Stampin’ Up! So it’s critical that the email address you have on file is correct.
When you plan your Bonus Days order(s), don’t forget the Burgin Bucks you can earn from me on that same purchase! Every month I send stampers free stamp sets; it’s my pleasure to be able to thank you for your business. Read more about the Burgin Bucks program here.
Celebrate Sunflowers: Hello sunshine
Seriously, I did a lot of sunflower stamping several weeks ago! The results — anything with any possible use — have been in a little pile on my work table, daring me to use them. So I took the challenge!
After using the 2020 June Paper Pumpkin kit, I knew these two sentiment stamps would be perfect with the sunflowers on Bumblebee card stock. The little hello is embossed in white and rough cut, which means I didn’t measure or die cut or even look too carefully at what I was doing!
I showed this card in the second August-December 2020 Mini Catalog reveal video last week. The tag is created by trimming off one side of a Little Treat Box die cut. (The Little Treats Bundle is on page 70 and so easy to miss!) I love the scalloped edge and, of course, the stitching. Tying some (retired) twine around a short length of ribbon is a simple — and relatively flat — treatment. That little picot edge on the Bumblebee Gingham Trim is so sweet!
Celebrate Sunflowers: double blooms
A couple of months ago, when I was fooling around with random stamping, I wanted to see if I could make a monochromatic card with Celebrate Sunflowers. I was successful using Bumblebee and Crushed Curry, but I wanted to use neutrals to move flowers from “girly” to sophisticated and even masculine.
Although the inside of the card looks darker, the sunflower is stamped in the same ink as the front — Soft Suede. Naturally, so is the envelope flap! (Need some tips on stamping a flap? Check out my video in this post.)
Not sure if you can tell that I embossed the stamped panel. It adds a subtle and surprising contrast to the sentiment panel — same color, different texture. I use this sentiment a lot. I love that it is long and can span the card. Although there are plenty of long rectangles in the Stitched Rectangles set, I used one from Ornate Layers. For me, that die alone has been worth the price of the set!
This card is ready for my brother-in-law’s birthday in early August!

Love of Leaves: I thought of you today
OK, I thought of you yesterday, when I showed you this card in my second August-September 2020 Mini Catalog reveal video! Remember, if you share the video on Facebook and I draw your name, I’ll send you this note card for you to keep or send to someone else (the inside is blank). The deadline for sharing is before Saturday, July 25.
This card shows off one of the amazing dies from the Love of Leaves Bundle (Stitched Leaves is the name of the die set). As I showed in the video, the outline of the leaf (which would cut out the stamped image) creates a stitched line on the negative part of the card stock. Be sure to note the sample on page 49 in the upcoming mini to see this on a card front.

August-December 2020 Mini Catalog reveal (autumn holiday)
Plenty to talk about here, with autumnal items and some transition things, too. I give two thumbs up to the products I ordered. Take a look for yourself!
