Daisy Lane: Smile

Honestly, I thought I heard a bird singing the other morning before I got out of bed. In my heart I know it’s way too early for spring, but I am ready to see how the gardens have fared over the winter. I’ll have to be content with my gardening magazines for a bit longer, I guess, but the pea seeds are standing by!

Meanwhile, here’s another card from December’s Greeting Card & Tin class:

As I’ve mentioned before, I collaborate with my southern stampin’ buddy Jennifer Taylor on several camps and classes. This was one of her designs, and I loved the way the solid corner piece enhanced the laser-cut card front. I chose Sahara Sand as the card liner to give a vintage feel and let the flowers take the spotlight.

The flower centers are the beautiful Gold Glitter Enamel Dots originally offered as part of the Christmastime is Here suite — but still available!
