Honey Bee: Hello

I mailed 18 handmade cards last weekend. There was some serious stamping going on! Why I didn’t start working on them during the holiday break, well, I can’t answer that. The call of the fireplace and the books and the tea — I was powerless to resist! I drove to the post office at 3:30 on Saturday, knowing there was no delivery Monday. I just wanted to be able to cross that item off my list!

This is a note card; as I’ve mentioned before, I love having several packs on hand for blank cards I include with Burgin Bucks coupons for free stamp sets. I love the smaller “canvas” — it’s so easy to use just a few small but strong elements. I love keeping lots of white space, too.

Oh, this honeycomb die cut is wonderful! Despite how carefully I tried to remove it from the die, most of the pieces fell out (that beats a lot of brushing and poking, right?), so I simply glued in place the pieces I wanted to keep.

This is such a well-priced bundle, with beautiful sentiments. Think about it during Sale-A-Bration!
