Do you save cards you have been given, even if they are not handmade? I do, especially when the design is so intriguing, and I think, “I could make something like that!” Such was the case with a card that inspired this April camp card (also inspired by Amanda Mertz).
If you’re loving all the new Stampin’ Up! things in the latest catalog, you may be wondering where this sentiment can be found. Put down the catalog, it’s not in there. In a way, it doesn’t really matter where it is — you can find it, and here’s how. When you are in a Stampin’ Up! storefront (this is mine), click in the search bar, then type happy anniversary and press Enter. The results at the top are those stamp sets that actually have those words, and you’ll see the set I used as the second hit. Sweetly Scripted is one of the Online Exclusives items that debuted in March, in case you’re still wondering!
I love these flowers! The centers are simply small circles flat adhered behind the pierced centers of each flower, while the leaves are portions of the leaf “sprig” die. You’ll notice that the stitched rectangle I use for the sentiment is not from the die set by that name, but from a set retired years ago that I will keep forever just for this one amazingly useful die.
