It’s amazing how the days fill up with activities. Just yesterday we had a training session of well over an hour on our new HVAC system here at home, including the fancy-schmancy thermostat. But at least now school is back in session, and hopefully we will fall into something of a routine.
I’m happy to be working ahead for September camps and the Jingle Jump sessions — and loving the 2019 Holiday Catalog. Some of you will have your very own copy in your hands this week, just ready for you to mark up and flag!
Meanwhile, it’s time to look back at some projects we recently created.
You don’t have to live on a farm to love this cow — and can’t you almost smell the dairy air? This camp card from June used a mask over the bottom part of the cow so the grass could be sponged. For the sky, however, we just carefully (and lightly) sponged around the images.
The plaid panel recalls a worn flannel shirt. It’s one of the reasons I love to use the Buffalo Check stamp; it doesn’t have to be perfect! If it did, we’d be using the Stamparatus so that we could re-ink and re-stamp if necessary. So happy this background image is offered in a cling version now!
