I had this post scheduled when the internet thwarted my plans. Or rather, the internet, the service provider, the wi-fi, the signal booster, the operating system, the hardware — well, it depends who I was talking to. Anyway, things seem to be back, and perhaps my cyber life here will go on.
Change can be beautiful, but sometimes getting to the beautiful requires going through the painful. I sent this September camp card to a friend who recently moved away from our area, where she had lived for many decades. I did my best to express my love and support for her.
It’s so nice to move away (even temporarily) from traditional fall colors. I was inspired by a card from Amy Koenders for just that reason. I loved her use of gingham check edges, which contrast with the leaf shapes so wonderfully!
I added some gold touches — actually, quite a few of them! I am happy to report that the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper is back in stock, at least at this time.
