Striped Quilt: Hello

Did you take advantage of the recent Designer Series Paper sale? Or do you just have lots of paper scraps in your craft area? {cough} Then here’s an idea for you, inspired by Tammy Wilson.

There’s nothing complicated about this June camp card — it’s just a matter of deciding (or choosing) the widths of your strips, then adhering them to a rectangular scrap. This panel measures 4½” x 3¼”, and you can probably tell that we began with one of the strips whose edge goes from corner to corner. After adhering all the strips, we flipped the panel over and trimmed the ends flush with the edges.

I use Biggest Wish so often on cards that are a bit (or a lot) bold. A delicate sentiment just wouldn’t work here. And as far as my choice of paper, I took advantage of the coordination of many of the patterns in the Delightfully Eclectic DSP pack. What will you use?
