I mailed this card shortly after the Stamp Review Crew’s July-August 2022 Sale-A-Bration blog hop, so I must rely on my imperfect memory to provide a description! I hope I will not omit important info.
As I wrote for the hop, I took advantage of the flexibility of photopolymer to shape the words along the Sweet Sorbet edge that I had cut with the Basic Border dies. I “bent” the stamp at an angle, then compared it to the edge, adjusting the angle as necessary.
After I heat-embossed the words, I decided the Sweet Sorbet panel was too plain and could benefit from some texture. Running it through a folder at this point was pretty risky, and indeed the embossing did crack just a tiny bit, but not enough to be horrible. (At least, I didn’t hear from the recipient of this card that she was insulted by its quality!)
See? You don’t even notice the minor cracking!
The little stitched tag is from the Happy Forest die set, but instead of threading the ribbon and/or twine through the tag’s hole, I trimmed off the top of the tag and slipped it under the knot. But that was after I fussy cut and adhered those teeny, tiny butterflies!
