Christmas to Remember: Evergreens

I love to create a tag for the front of a card, and this Jingle Jump example came together quickly. My goal was “winter serenity,” and although we have yet to see anything but a few flurries here, I have no doubt we will see something like this before long. I hope so, anyway!

It’s no coincidence that the embossed white panel behind the tag is 2¾” wide, as it was the perfect size for one of the Wintry 3D embossing folders. Also, cutting the Evening Evergreen scrap 2″ wide meant there was no trimming necessary to perfectly span the tag. However, it’s useful to have the scrap a bit longer (2¾”) so you have something to hold on to when feeding it into the punch. The snowy, sparkly “hill” was cut by hand.

When I first started designing the Jingle Jump cards, the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog — what we used to call the “holiday” mini — was not yet out. Happily, there were new or new-to-me holiday products in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, and I was able to start designing with that. All of the products used on this card are from the Annual Catalog, except for the retired Sparkle Glimmer Paper.
