If you have looked at the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog Retiring List (and marked your mini accordingly), you know that Christmas Season is not on that list! Hooray for that, as this stamp set and the coordinating Christmas Pinecone dies have gotten lots of use in the past several months. Why stop now?
So, before I move ahead with more Christmas cards and (eventually) products from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog, I thought I’d use these images on a note card with more of an autumn feel.
As you can see, this is another example of an embossed “first layer” in the same color as the card base. I am very happy that the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder will be with us for a few more months, at least!
This idea started when I was creating place cards for our Thanksgiving table. I’d guess not many people do this anymore (and really, everyone sits at the same place here each year), but I was itching to stamp something!
Before making a slew of these, I practiced on pieces of cut-to-size copy paper so I could figure out placement and colors. Then they went together in a snap, including cleanup!
Do you see my pattern? (1) Three leaves diagonally. (2) Four leaves at compass corners (NSEW). (3) Four sets of berries as fillers.
