Early in April, I held two classes on the “Love It, Chop It” concept. (Kylie Bertucci, a demonstrator from Australia, popularized the notion of prepping your Designer Series Paper so that it is ready to use.) The secret is the cutting template you use to cut a single sheet of 12” x 12” paper into panels for 12 cards. That’s right — you can make 144 cards from a typical pack of patterned paper! You can find Love It, Chop It templates by searching Pinterest.
Class participants received pre-cut (“chopped”) Floral Romance Specialty DSP packaged in a stamp case; in addition to a picture of the paper patterns, the coordinating card stock colors were listed. I hope this is only the first of several Love It, Chop It classes!
This first card uses a sentiment from Humming Along, retiring from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. I’m sure you can see that all sorts of sentiments would be appropriate for this beautifully subtle design!
Can you see the sprigs of Sparkle Glimmer Paper? Just that little bit is important!
