I think this card was just the thing for my BIL. (You know, I always have to run the masculine cards by my husband to see if he agrees with my assessment!) Way too early for fall color, his early-August birthday called for nature and a bit of whimsy, although that last part was for me!
Combining a sawtooth edge with embossed checks is a playful touch, but without those elements, this would be appropriate for a more serious occasion and sentiment.
