Yesterday’s Sweet as a Peach card used the blossoms, and this card uses the peaches. I really wanted to use this set during peak peach time! A kitchen with a bushel of peaches ready to process for jam or the freezer is heaven, and even though I don’t can as I once did, I’ll never forget that aroma!
Using the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder on a panel of Petal Pink reminds me of peach or apricot sherbet. Yum!
I inked up each peach in Pale Papaya, then used a Sponge Dauber to add a bit of Calypso Coral to the outer edge of the stamp before stamping it. (Although it’s been years since we’ve used the “direct to rubber” technique, many stampers in camp this month remembered to “huff” on the stamp to moisten the ink before stamping.)
Can’t keep from using the Classic Label punch — you’ll see it again next week!
