This is my card from yesterday’s Stamp Review Crew blog hop on Notes of Nature. If any two Stampin’ Up! colors play well together, consider Lost Lagoon and Pool Party. Of course, there aren’t just two, are there? Because I think Wild Wheat and gold are kindred spirits, too.
So it was a given that I would pair the Softly Stippled DSP from Sale-A-Bration (rapidly drawing to a close!) and Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP, part of the Nature’s Sweetness Suite. That paper is quite stunning, with gold accents on one side of each of the six designs.
If you’re wondering about the size of the die that cut the sentiment, it’s actually a taller die that I cut twice — once aligning and cutting just the lower part of the die where I wanted the bottom of the sentiment piece and then, nestling the die into the cuts already made, cutting the top.
