Forever Forest is another set I bought without its coordinating dies. I thought that I could get a lot of use just from the beautiful images, and I was right, but of course I saw wonderful creations using the dies. So it goes.
This is another simple Jingle Jump card featuring two retired items: the 1⅜” Circle Punch and Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Using my circle punches for events is so much easier for participants than a lot of die cutting; putting a plain sentiment piece against an embossed panel is a favorite design element of mine. I used Pear Pizzazz as a card base because I wanted the contrast of the trees in a darker color — and I had so much cardstock left over when it retired!
Today we are having new windows installed in three rooms. (I hope to be hiding in the lower level to escape the sound and dust.) Although we had been cleaning closets and storage areas upstairs and down as we had the energy during COVID recovery the past few weeks, we worked especially hard Saturday to get ready; I am grateful for the other local Burgins who helped move the bed and dresser and sofa, etc., yesterday They were rewarded with a pumpkin pie and cookies! How we will thank them for putting everything back, I wonder?
