It was such a joy to make my friend’s birthday card with the new Framed Florets bundle. Having a little time to color and play with the design made for a lovely morning downstairs.

I couldn’t resist another gold frame (like the one here), and I accented the flowers with Wink of Stella to add more glimmer.
You may be surprised to see Soft Suede ink in the product list below. I don’t always use Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp images I will color using Stampin’ Blends; it can be a little severe. In this case, I planned to create an autumnal spray of flowers, so I thought Soft Suede would work better. Instead, I opened my paper drawer and saw a color that I haven’t used lately. Blackberry Bliss was my new choice, and if I had started with that, I might have stamped in Basic Gray or even Smoky Slate. Unless you’re doing a lot of blending over the lines of the images, you can use our Classic Ink for stamping.
