My second card of the Leaves of Holly blog hop with the Stamp Review Crew is this one. I called it Frosted Holly because of the die-cut overlay on the holly leaf, cut from white Glimmer Paper (part of the Real Red & White 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper pack in the current Mini Catalog).
Although I wanted a subtle holly background on yesterday’s card, here I went a little bolder. This is Soft Succulent ink at “full strength” (not stamped off) on a Soft Succulent panel.

In addition to the frosted holly leaf, I added some iciness in the form of embossed vellum — one of my favorite elements to give a wintery feel.

A bit of sheer ribbon knotted around the leaf stem adds some more shimmer. (Truthfully, I knotted the ribbon first and affixed it to the stem with a Glue Dot, but I think it’s a successful illusion.)
