If you come to stamp camp here, you may not realize that the family room fireplace is two-sided. What a novelty! The living room has a formal mantel, while this one is more casual (and actually this side didn’t have a mantel until a couple of years ago). This is what it looks like today, before I start the transition to Christmas.
There’s nothing stamped here, but it’s an insight into some of my designs. I’ve said before how difficult I find the “collage” look of stamping, yet I love to arrange the mantels and little shelves around the house. It finally dawned on me that my cardmaking challenge is because they are essentially two-dimensional. Hah!
