I’m pretty sure I’ve used more red and green for Christmas card designs this year than in my entire 15-year Stampin’ Up! career! This is another card from October’s Holiday Stamp-a-Stack to Go, designed by Jennifer Taylor. Although there are beautiful Shaded Spruce designs in the ‘Tis the Season DSP, we simplified the colors to Cherry Cobbler (or Real Red) and Garden Green, since participants would be doing their own stamping at home.
Of course, there’s no stamping on this card, just those cool layering dies from the Peace & Joy bundle.
Pretty sure I was not the only kid who outlined my name over and over until the entire page was outlining. (Did you do this?) That’s what these dies remind me of — I’ll show you a card next week that shows the full extent of the outlining these dies can provide. You can do as much or little as you wish. I used Adhesive Sheets for the thinnest die cut, because it is so much easier than applying tiny dots of glue. The Foam Adhesive Sheets would be wonderful, too!
