This — perhaps my last autumn card — was inspired by Jaimie Babarczy. For the life of me, I can’t find her original card on her site or my Pinterest boards to know how I changed her design. (How does that happen?) I hope I am giving credit to the right stamper!
These are not traditional autumn colors, but that’s what I find so appealing about the Gilded Autumn Suite.
I love this Pinewood Planks background. I prefer to make embossing a separate layer, rather than embossing the card front; if something goes wrong with the embossing, the card front isn’t ruined.
Once again, it’s hard to turn your back, so to speak, on one side of this Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. It’s all beautiful! But I wanted something shiny; I added some metallic sprigs and the pearls I use so often.
OK, this isn’t really my last card of the season; I have plenty of Thanksgiving cards to make and send. Now the tough part starts: narrowing down my design choices!
