This card, inspired by Sue Mohr, is re-creatable in all sorts of combinations of colors and patterned paper. I happen to love dots, so I used a piece of 2020-2022 In Color 6”x6” Designer Series Paper in Bumblebee. I also happen to love that color!
See that strip of DSP inside the card? It’s not really a secret: that’s what’s left over when you cut the DSP to 4″ x 5¼” for the front! Adding that continues the theme from front to inside and provides a nice touch without any extra work.
Inside I stamped a birthday sentiment from Fancy Phrases in Cinnamon Cider ink, but suit yourself!
This shows the clever stitching on the negative piece of the die cut (I saved the Cinnamon Cider leaf for another card). Last week on my Heartfelt Inkspiration Facebook someone complimented me on my bows! In truth, I don’t often use bows on my cards, but this particular ribbon treatment is a … cinch!
