Over two months after its debut, this stamp set finally saw ink this week! Posted for You is a lovely and inexpensive set and, with its companion punch, is so versatile!
I thought I’d start out with the birds. (We have had an unusual number of birds in the back yard this year, and I believe the third family is in the bird house. Why?)
I love using Vellum Cardstock to soften Designer Series Paper (and, yes, it did hurt to hide the beautiful reverse side of this pattern!). Note how the graphic embossing pattern contrasts with the curvy pattern of the DSP. Another design trick is to repeat elements, such as the shiny thread in the twine and the Wink of Stella on the birds. Using contrast and repetition can make the difference in your stamping!
