Can you believe tomorrow’s the last day of the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog? And that means it’s time for the Annual Great Coin Jar Contest! If you’ve participated in previous years, you know that I never spend my change; I put all coins in a vintage blue canning jar. It’s a quart-sized jar, and many years it’s around 2/3 full, yielding $70-$80.
Of course, just because the jar is full doesn’t mean the total is that much greater than a half-full jar. It depends on the coin denominations, right?
All this to say, there’s no science to this: the Annual Great Coin Jar Contest is your best guess. And here’s a picture of this year’s jar:
Yes, that’s the “beauty shot,” to impress you with my Siberian iris, not the contents of the jar! Here’s a better look:
Here’s how the contest works:
- Make your best guess (only one!) and send it to me via text message, email, Facebook comment, or blog post comment.
- Your guess must be posted Tuesday, June 2, by the end of my work day — 9:00 p.m. Central.
- The person who guesses closest to the actual amount in the jar, as determined by my bank later today, will receive a prize.
- You must be a U.S. resident to win, and no purchase is necessary.
- The prize this year is the brand-new stamp set Posted for You, seen on page 81 of the Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This prize (which does not include the coordinating punch) is valued at $17.00!
- I’ll mail you the prize or hand it to you when I see you at camp or elsewhere.
Enjoy the contest — and, hopefully, the prize!
