Although I bought Shine Bright because of the tree image (seen in yesterday’s post), when I started playing with the fabulous Heirloom Frames Dies & Embossing Folders, I knew I’d need a substantial element in the center. Peace on Earth was perfect (and always appropriate).
This card, from the October Jingle Jump, reminds me of a gift box from a Chicago department store in the 60s, with classic colors and shine.
This is when I fell in love with using Silver Foil for the frames: stunning, simple, and fool-proof. As a bonus, you are left with a beautiful silver oval that makes a perfect mat for a sentiment on another card.
I used the sprig from the Christmas Layers Dies set, cut apart, for the greenery. Happy that these dies will be with us for the 2020 Holiday Catalog!
