This is an example of a card I saw, I loved, and I copied! I barely changed a thing from Mary Fish’s creation:
As October stamp campers heard, this is more layering and popping-up than I typically do; the right end of the flagged sentiment has two Stampin’ Dimensionals stacked underneath so that it is the same as the left side (which is flat on the deer panel). I think this sentiment is useful for several occasions, including a birthday. Do you agree?
My favorite detail of this card is the stitched scallop edge. So charming, especially with that Linen Thread bow peeking out! But do you know what produced the end of that Soft Suede strip underneath? It’s an old technique, and I’ll share it with you tomorrow!
Are you wondering about this set? You’ll find Nature’s Beauty inside the back cover of the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Holiday Catalog. As you can see, a portion of every sale goes toward a mental health organization — in the United States, this will be donated to NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness).
