This autumn card from the All-Occasions Stamp-a-Stack features a new bundle from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog, which goes live on September 6. Pick of the Patch is the stamp set and — thank you, Stampin’ Up! — also the name of the coordinating punch.
When I began planning this event, I was surprised to find that I didn’t have any pumpkin stamps. Every stamper needs a pumpkin or two! Lucky for me, this bundle is adorable, with several different pumpkins and gourds, accessories (a crow!), and excellent sentiments. The punch cuts out two sizes of pumpkins, a leaf, and a pumpkin stem. In my opinion, none of those images is particularly difficult to fussy cut, if you don’t mind it.
As stampers have heard before, I like to use unexpected color combinations. This one uses traditional orange with a vibrant green (Lemon Lime Twist here, but Granny Apple Green at the event) and a mellow blue-green. Participants making this card stamped the pumpkin duo twice, the second time without re-inking.
