Gingham friend

When I started the Big Studio Makeover yesterday, I had no idea what I had started!  So I am not quite ready to show you the “after” pictures.  It’s amazing what I uncovered.  Let me just say that I have more Sahara Sand ink refills than any one stamper should!

So in the meantime, I am sharing this camp card from February, CASEd from Tammy Beard.  The little piece of magic on this card is that both the gingham panel and the white panel were cut with the same Rectangle Stitched Framelit (but not at the same time).  This shows you how cool these dies are:  one die produces stitching on both the positive and negative (frame) pieces.  Love this.

But it’s that piercing die that steals the show, don’t you agree?

This is a sweet card, especially with the addition of the Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins in the center of each flower. When I ran out of the Highland Heather gingham, I changed the card base to Balmy Blue and the flowers to Crushed Curry. Equally sweet!
