Project Gallery — 2017 Spring Inkspiration Saturday
Here are the projects from 2017 Spring Inkspiration Saturday in March, featuring the 2017 Occasions set That’s the Tag. All stamp images ©1990-2017 Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Up! is a registered trademark.
In My Thoughts — This beautiful wave of peaceful color hides a secret: a sponged panel behind the inlaid die cut. A bit of rhinestone sparkle is the perfect touch.
Happy Anniversary — This is one of two cards of the same basic design. The layering of color and texture (including a vellum panel) makes this so elegant.
Thinking of You — Using Sponge Brayers to layer on Marina Mist and Mint Macaron creates a peaceful, misty scene. The rhinestone is colored with a permanent marker. The inside scene is not as dramatic to allow for a written message.
Butterfly Thanks — More brayering, but this time with a rubber brayer inside an embossing folder. The result is imperfectly charming! This card uses the InkSat featured set, That’s the Tag, and its coordinating Timeless Tags Thinlits dies. The hole in the tag is hidden by a golden die-cut butterfly, which brings out the gold in the Sale-A-Bration ribbon.
So Detailed Birthday — I had this card designed weeks and weeks before event, because I knew just what I wanted from the That’s the Tag set: lots of texture and detail and the drama of Sweet Sugarplum paired with black and white.
Starry Congrats — The Glimmer Paper peeking through the die-cut stars on this tag make this sweet card appropriate for a variety of occasions. We used this beautiful grid paper from the Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper to offset a bit of the sweetness.
Rainbow Balloon — This playful birthday card is suitable for any age. The patterned paper at the bottom is from a Sale-A-Bration offering.
Happy Birthday, Guy — From the detailed ruler to the deeply embossed background to the Urban Underground Washi Tape, this card is made for a special guy. The panel inside the card repeats the washi tape!
