Project Gallery — 2016 Fall Inkspiration Saturday
Here are the projects from 2016 Fall Inkspiration Saturday in October. All stamp images ©1990-2016 Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Up! is a registered trademark.
Triple Copper Flower (Debra Burgin) — Whether this Paisley Framelits die cut is a flower or a leaf, it doesn’t matter! Some detailed work at the Big Shot (waxed paper between the Copper Foil paper and the die helps!) makes this card dramatic.
Paisley Thanks (Elizabeth Hamilton) — A few tiny leaves embossed with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder pop in this background. The sentiment is from Suite Seasons; the rest of the stamps are from the featured set, Paisleys & Posies.
Blessed (Darlene Johnson) — A beautiful color combo (Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron, Night of Navy, amd Rich Razzleberry) is showcased on this white card. A copper “flower head” die cut is tucked under the sentiment oval. The beautiful Mint Macaron ribbon is from the 3/8″ Ribbon Trio Pack in the 2016 Holiday Catalog.
Christmas Tree (Elizabeth Hamilton) — Can you believe these images are from Paisleys & Posies? The bottom layer of this tree is stamped on the Whisper White panel; the others medallions were punched out with a 3/4” Circle Punch.
Chickadee (Debra Burgin) — I love a bird on a Christmas card; in fact, this is the second time a “chickadee” has been on a Fall Inkspiration Saturday card. The pine bough die cuts, from the Pretty Pines Thinlits set, are repeated in the Pine Bough embossing on the white background.
Faux Metal (Debra Burgin) — This card is all about texture and color. The faux metal effect is achieved with dry embossing (Holly) sponged with several colors and Copper powder heat embossing. Each panel was unique, and all were stunning!
Copper Pines (Elizabeth Hamilton) — This card is excellent for the guys, and the only project that had no stamping on it! We saved the negative pieces when die cutting the pine boughs from another card, then popped them over rectangles of Copper Foil paper.
Snow Globe (the design team) — Not every “creative committee” could design something so cute, but we nailed it! The new Foam Adhesive Strips are perfect for creating the “dam” that becomes the window. They are flexible enough to go around the corners of this jar.
