Stamp Review Crew: Sale-A-Bration

Do not adjust your set! You are correct, this is NOT the first or third Monday of the month. (In north central Illinois it feels like it could be the 20th Monday of the month; more snow and record cold are ahead for us this week, yahoo!)

To celebrate Sale-A-Bration, the Stamp Review Crew is throwing in a BONUS blog hop today. And instead of featuring a the same set from each blogger on the hop, this time it’s
“blogger’s choice”! You may have arrived from Lou Kitzelman’s blog, With a Bow on Top by Lou. Wonderful, right?

Because I focused on valentines for January camp projects, I’m only just now seriously playing with my Sale-A-Bration products. Like many others, I was smitten with the silly frogs in So Hoppy Together, on page 13 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. So cute, and so fun to color with Stampin’ Blends markers.

In December, stamp campers made several types of containers suitable for gift cards or treats. I followed Amanda Charlesworth’s YouTube video to make one … then another and another. (You have been warned!) I wanted to use the Dot to Dot embossing folder, but that seriously textured cardstock didn’t want to fold right and stay flat, as you can see from these pictures.

Still, the overall effect is playful and spunky. Just what I wanted!

You can see the ingredients for this project below, but you may want to head straight for Paper Conversation, the blog of my creative friend Mickey Roberts. Enjoy!
