Stamp Review Crew: Waterfront

Welcome to the first Stamp Review Crew blog hop of September!  Gulp.  I know.  This time we are playing with Waterfront, first appearing in the Stampin’ Up! 2018 Occasions Catalog, and now carried over into the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog — hooray!

Is this your first Stamp Review Crew hop?  We are an international group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators getting together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop.  Each hop features a single stamp set to give you lots of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, which means you will be able to click through any SRC hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop at your convenience!  And you can click on the banner of this post, above, to go to the master blog roll for this hop, also.

There are 13 stampers on this hop — from all over the world — and you may have arrived here from Mary’s blog, Center Stage Stamping.  Her stampin’ style fits me perfectly!

It’s not often that I preview camp cards, but here’s an exception.  Stampers at this weekend’s Jingle Jump can choose to make this card:

I’ve gone tropical, lakeside, and mountains with this stamp set, but I think my favorite is Christmas and winter!  These evergreens are colored direct-to-rubber with Stampin’ Write markers, then stamped; the background sky is sponged over a mask.  I added a spatter of shimmery snow by whacking the Wink of Stella barrel against my finger.  Here’s a somewhat better view of the effect:

Not only does this card fulfill my silver+blue requirement for the Jingle Jump, it’s simple!

Ready to move on?  (I’ll post details about this card on Tuesday, if you want to come back then!)  The next blogger is Linda Callahan, at Stampin’ Seasons.  Enjoy her work — I do!
