Thanks to the giraffe

When I was 19, I worked at Toys “R” Us for the summer.  Other college friends earned big money, but not me.  On the other hand, I was in air conditioning, had reasonable hours, and learned how to use a cash register.  Yes, before bar codes, I manually punched in the price.  It was actually kind of fun, except the one time someone’s credit card was rejected after I ran it through that embossing machine and sent in the number.  I was pretty sure they were going to hurt me.

Of course, this is not the dearly departed Geoffrey.  But if I could, I’d send this to … whoever … at Toys “R” Us to thank them for the experience.

As you see, this June camp card is CASEd from Diana Gibbs.  I love the way the embossing echos the punched leaves.  A perfect card!  Note the detail inside.

I colored the image with Stampin’ Blends.  I’m so happy that the new colors are in my studio!
