I was surprised to find that I haven’t participated in a Stamp Review Crew hop for 3½ months — not because I didn’t want to, but usually I didn’t have the set for the hop. As you may know, the SRC blog hop (first and third Monday of each month) focuses on just one stamp set. With participants from all over the world, that’s a lot of concentrated inspiration!
Today we’re playing with Beautiful Bouquet, a favorite set (with coordinating dies) returning to the new Stampin’ Up! 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. Not only does it have wonderful floral images, it’s a gold mine of sentiments — in a set of 37 photopolymer stamps!
You may have arrived here via Nikki’s blog, My Sandbox. She does the prettiest coloring! (Click the banner above for a list of blogs for this hop, and remember that all SRC hops are accessible at any time by visiting the Stamp Review Crew blog.)
A project by Mary Brown inspired my card, although of course they don’t look anything alike!
As I started working, I found myself falling into familiar habits of design. So I was determined to ESCHEW SYMMETRY. (I’m thinking of printing up t-shirts, if you’re interested.)
It wasn’t easy, but I’m pleased with the results. At the end of this post you can see the list of products used.
Thanks for visiting — I’d love if you’d take a moment to comment! Then on you go over to Artisan Design Team member Charlet’s blog, Painted Orange. I know you’ll love what she has to show you!
