Cook once, eat twice. That’s the way I work it, especially since we eat at home most of the time. I’m sometimes in that same mindset when designing cards:
I think I said already that I tried to use my favorite retiring products in April, before they were no longer available. When last I checked, the retiring items on this card (Sweet Sugarplum ink and card stock, Vintage Leaves set, Leaflets Framelits) were still in stock.
I think you can see the shine in the center of the daisy. We accomplished this by squeezing a bit of Fine Tip Glue onto the image, then swirling it around. It takes a while to dry, so be careful.
To get the little bit of shading on the petals, make a quick swipe of diluted color (from the lid of the ink pad) with an Aqua Painter. Although the daisy wasn’t stamped in waterproof ink, it doesn’t smear if you don’t play with it.
If you’re wondering why “cook once, eat twice” has anything to do with stamping, come back tomorrow!
