Strawberry happy birthday

I have had a wild week of stamping, preparing for my display board at the OnStage event in Milwaukee this weekend and getting ready for April camps that start next week.  It’s been busy, but fun — I’ve spent hours and hours alone with a room full of supplies!

Before it is too far in the past, I must share another card from Inkspiration Saturday, actually only about five weeks ago, but feeling more like several months!

Debra Burgin | Stampin' Up! | Fruit Basket | I love working with these tiny fruit images! You don't need a lot of clutter to get the "happy birthday" message across! Click for more details.

It’s too bad I couldn’t adjust my settings to show the “appliqued” scalloped circles.  Red on red — simple and fun!

When I first used the Fruit Basket set for a make-and-take project last November at OnStage in Salt Lake City, I thought “Cute, but no.”  I should know better.  It only takes someone like Allison Okamitsu — and lots of others — to prove how shortsighted I can be to a set’s possibilities!

The strawberry and cap are stamped as a 2-step image, then punched out with the cutest little punch.  That’s it!
