Just because it’s starting to look like spring

Well, it looks like spring today, anyway!  Tomorrow will be another story!

Sometimes I see the perfect card and decide to use it without significant changes for stamp camp.  That’s what happened with this card, CASEd from Sharon Burkert:

Heartfelt Inkspiration | Stampin' Up! A Good Day | This card was CASEd from Sharon Burkert. What did I find so appealing? A triplet of circles, the large expanse of white, and the gingham ribbon (my addition). Click for more details!

It doesn’t get much sweeter than this, including those charming mats punched with one of the little Scallop Circle Punches.  Just another reason to love A Good Day, from the Stampin’ Up! 2018 Occasions Catalog.  (This is not the last project you’ll see from me using this set!)

Here’s a little secret:  Those scalloped mats were punched from the large Basic Gray mat.  It’s an easy way to save on cardstock; don’t think you’ll somehow be able to tell there are holes behind the main panel!

My changes to Sharon’s design?  Polka dots on the main white panel and the fab Gingham Ribbon.

Such a happy card even if it might not be a really Spring-like day! I think I always like a card with a bird on it.
