Stamp Review Crew: Wood Words

The Stamp Review CrewHello again! So glad you’re here for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop featuring Wood Words, a stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  If you’ve hopped with us before, you know we are an international group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators getting together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop.  Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for just that set!  The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want.

If you’re hopping in order, you’ve just enjoyed Holly’s work at Rubber Redneck.  (Click the banner above for a complete list of participating blogs.)

As for me, my cards are nothing like I had envisioned them!  I guess that’s the way the creative process works, right?

I’m putting this card to the side for my husband’s valentine — glad I have a simple system to keep track of occasions!  If you doubt you’ll ever use math as a stamper, well, just try to stamp these nine hearts without it!  And my Stamp-a-ma-jig was smoking when I got done!  I lightly sponged VersaMark ink on the embossed panel so the copper embossing was not overpowering.

Next, I’m giving you a sneak peek of a beautiful die in the 2018 Occasions Catalog (December stamp campers, you’ll get your copy this month!).  It’s from the Cake Soirée bundle.

This floral image in Wood Words is probably my favorite one, and I especially love it embossed in white on a dark card stock.  I am pleased to say this card is already in the mail!

Those are my non-seasonal contributions to the hop — now you’re on your way to see what Charlet has inked up for you at Painted Orange!
