Welcome to the last Stamp Review Crew blog hop of November! This time we are playing with Painted Harvest from the Stampin’ Up! 2017 Holiday Catalog. There are 18 stampers on this hop — from all over the world. Remember that although you may have arrived here from Stesha’s blog, Stampin’ Hoot, you can always see a list of the participating blogs by clicking on the banner above — and go back at any time!
I’ve used this set so much (I got it when I was on the Thailand incentive trip back in July!), but I have several projects you haven’t yet seen, either here or in person. First is a simple note card that I “stitched” with the Quilt Top embossing folder. Only problem was that I had the folder upside down, so it’s not embossed, it’s debossed. And actually, it looks more like stitching that way! This simple card was one of the samples I presented to a client for a custom order.
Although I have loved the sunflower in this set, and experimented with different color combinations, I also adore the other images; the only one I haven’t used is the acorn. This thank you note card uses the pretty “detailed” leaf or fern:
We don’t have a big group for Thanksgiving here; there will only be eight at our table. And that’s a good thing, because I ambitiously decided to place a favor at each place. I stamped the topper on a coffee filter so that it would not rip when I placed the ring on the jar. The snack inside the jar (not enough to ruin the meal!) is a slight variation on Spiced Cranberry-Almond Party Mix, perfect for fall and winter. You can read about it here.
If you’re going to keep hopping (and not stop to make this snack mix!), your next stop is to see what Adriana’s got for you at Escape2Stamp. Enjoy!
