This week’s item on my my thankful list is especially important to me as I travel to Salt Lake City for OnStage this week.
I am thankful for Stampin’ Up!.
I know it sounds a little dramatic. But 14 years ago when I held my first rubber stamp and the staff of Stampin’ Up! helped me create some simple make-and-take projects at the scrapbooking convention I was attending, I simply had no idea the impact that ten minutes of time would make on my life and heart. Have I shared this picture before? It’s from that convention — the first thing I ever created with Stampin’ Up! products:
As this post is published, the activities at OnStage have not even started! Yesterday I went on a tour to the Stampin’ Up! home office in Riverton, Utah. (I posted pictures on my Instagram account here.) When the event kicks off in a few hours, I am positive there will be loud music, screaming, hugging, dancing — and probably some crying, too. That’s just the way it goes. I am anxious to see my Stampin’ buddies from all over the country, and beyond. And I’m loving that so many of my downline are experiencing the “big dance” for the first time this year!
What about you?
Do you love to create things? Want to experience friendship and fun with other demos? Or just enjoy a product discount and the opportunity to play with new products before the general public sees them? Or go big and earn the incentive trips?
There’s never a *bad* time to become a demonstrator — and early November is a great time because we are on the verge of a new seasonal catalog and Sale-A-Bration, both of which can help your business.
And if you’re not even *thinking* about starting a business, not even a bit (as someone who just wants to support your habit, as we say), you can earn the very same benefits as someone who works at this full time, as I do.
