All credit for this July camp card goes to my friend and former Artistan, Sue Plote. OK, it’s not exactly the same as her card, but she provided the inspiration!
When we saw the Birthday Delivery Bundle in Minneapolis in April (which sounds like a lifetime ago, really), I think we all fell in love with it. But as happens to me fairly often, the stamp set and dies sat forever before seeing ink and Big Shot.
The coloring here is with Watercolor Pencils. I enjoy working with them — but then, I like all kinds of coloring that I can blend. I think it might be time to schedule a Basic Coloring class. How about it?
Tip: Basic Black Archival Ink is amazing — it stamps fine images with excellent detail and generally won’t bleed or smudge. BUT it benefits from being heat set for about 30 seconds before touching the stamped image. Even the Watercolor Pencils will drag the black ink if you skip this step.
