I hold Splash of Inkspiration events several times a year. These half-days are typically concentrated on a single stamp set. Last weekend’s Splash was all about Colorful Seasons. Participants stamped 8 cards (2 each of 4 designs), including this “spring” one, inspired by Patty Bennett:
I used the “cherry blossoms” stamp on this long branch (stamped twice), but it’s designed to fit another one of the images. So blossoms are floating in mid-air — but that’s not a bad thing, right?
I’ve been using the “anchored ribbon” technique for years, and I’ve assumed that anyone stamping with me has seen it before. But Saturday there was a stamper who hadn’t already learned it. How about you? See a tutorial on how to anchor a ribbon here.
