I love lemons — color, aroma, taste (sweetened, please), and just the way they look!  So although the Lemon Zest bundle was not at the top of my wish list, it didn’t take long to move up.

I used the card on page 90 of the Stampin’ Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog for my inspiration, mostly changing the colors.  Just that bit of Lemon Lime Twist has great impact!

I used the gorgeous new Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions folder on the banner.  IMO, this is an essential embossing folder to own!  Remember that because the Dynamic folders are thicker, you’ll only use one cutting pad in your sandwich (on top of the folder) and you should insert it fold-first into your Big Shot.

The Lemon Builder Punch, available as a bundle with the stamp set, is used to punch the lemon and two different shaped leaves.  Because all three are punched at the same time, you must plan how you’ll insert the stamped paper into the punch — you don’t want to punch through a stamped image!

I had plenty of practice with the punch, as this is my swap card for Thailand achievers.  That was 130 leaves!  I hope the 26 recipients love it, and I can hardly wait to see what I get in return.

Come back for more citrus goodness this week!
