This is not a casual suggestion! I mean it so much, we made a card at May camps promoting the idea:
As with other projects last month, there’s both old and new product. I have always loved the Penned & Painted stamp set, so we just had to use it one last time. It’s a layout I’ve used before — the angled and repeated motif — that also works beautifully with leaves.
This card is accented with bits of silver. You can’t really tell in the photo, but we spattered Wink of Stella on the main panel after it was stamped. Just those tiny dots of shimmer complemented the acetate strip and Silver Foil mat on the sentiment circle. Repeating elements like that can make a card sing!
Now that Penned & Painted is in the bin for the garage sale this week, I’m simply going to have to find a new floral love! I have a box of goodies arriving this afternoon that may hold the successor to P&P!
