Here’s a card I could make all day long! I have made a peek-through card with patterned paper as the layer you see through the die cut, but this one is created by daubing areas of color. Popping up the die-cut layer adds to the effect, I think.
It was so popular at the April camps that I created a slightly simplified version for the All-Occasions Stamp-a-Stack a few weeks ago. There I offered three different ink colorways, but stampers mixed and matched to create the most amazing cards — no two alike!
We’re using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits in camp this month, and it occurred to me that we could create something similar (but not so feminine, perhaps) with those dies. To the studio!
