Perfect timing for this edition of the Stamp Review Crew blog hop! Cool Treats is a suitable stamp set to use in my part of Illinois now, where temps are warming up and the sun is (usually) shining bright. Not to say that there’s a bad time for a frozen confection, but it seems more legit now that we’re feeling like spring here.
Is this your first Stamp Review Crew hop? We are an international group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you lots of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, which means you will be able to click through any SRC hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop at your convenience! And you can click on the banner of this post, above, to go to the master blog roll for this hop, also.
If you’re hopping in order, you’ve just come from Charlene Harreveld’s blog, Stamping with Charlene. I love her style!
My scrapbook page is probably not what you’ve been seeing on this hop — no stamped or die-cut ice cream cones or frozen pops! Because how could I compete with my sweet boy and that delicious fudge pop?
This picture is from a few years ago, taken while we took a break from our water fun in the driveway on a hot July day. I have other pictures showing just how messy this treat was, but I love this picture because he still looks like a little preschooler.
I used this layout on my OnStage display board last weekend; I’ll start showing my work (with 2017-2018 product sneak peeks!) over the next several weeks.
You’re probably aware that Cool Treats was not on the retiring list released last week (just the bundle of stamp and coordinating dies). Hooray! Local stampers, you’ll be using the bundle at May camps, so be sure to eat up all the inspiration on this hop!
And now you’re off to see what Mike Funke has at Stampin- Style. Enjoy the treats!
