Because I had to reschedule last week’s final monthly camp due to bad weather, I had both a free night and a sparkling clean studio. I took advantage of those conditions and got a start on my February note cards for online orders and for Burgin Bucks. I send these blank cards and envelopes inside a larger envelope so the cards can be sent on.
Now that was fun! I had just received the new Make a Medallion stamp set (from the second release of Sale-A-Bration freebies) and happily started working with it. How I love photopolymer stamps, especially when doing 2-step stamping!
The effect on the So Saffron strip was created by repeating one of the square dies from the Window Box Thinlits set. Isn’t that cool? (I don’t think it looks quite so Swiss-cheeselike IRL.) Just be prepared: it’s pretty time consuming when you’re making a lot of cards. With later versions, I simply embossed the strip with my favorite Softly Falling folder.
Before die cutting the scalloped edge of the medallion, I punched out the center and adhered that to a blue scalloped circle. That little edge is so sweet, and the whole center is popped up to show it off.
